The Division of Behavioral & Mental Health Services (DBMHS) is fostering health and harmony in Native Communities by promoting inward healing and providing comprehensive, integrated and culturally appropriate behavioral and mental health services.

Our mission is to provide comprehensive behavioral health services to native families. By establishing quality, culturally responsive behavioral treatment services, DBMHS assures comprehensive alcohol and substance use prevention, education, treatment, and aftercare services through effective coordination, and development of behavioral and mental health infrastructure on the Navajo Nation.

DBMHS is the largest Native American behavioral and mental health provider with Administrative Offices in Window Rock, AZ. DBMHS has nine outpatient treatment centers in Arizona and three outpatient treatment centers and one residential treatment center in New Mexico.
